Car wash a fundraiser for Northwest High School students
Students in Northwest High School's Give Hope program are washing cars Saturday to raise money for a trip to New Orleans.
The group has been helping people recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. The car wash is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tractor Supply Co. at Airport and Springport roads.
All donations will go directly to the participating students.

"Michigan Fun," 2009 Jackson County Rose Parade, 1 p.m. Sunday. Parade route is from the corner of S. Jackson Street and Greenwood Avenue to Fourth Street, ending at Middle School at Parkside. Presented by American 1 Federal Credit Union. Free. 780-4139.
